April 11-13, 2008 - Kerhonkson, NY
MidAtlantic Bonsai Societies - 25th MidAtlantic Bonsai
Societies Spring Festival - The Spring Festival will commence
Friday evening, April 11, 2008 and will continue through Sunday
afternoon, April 13, 2008, at the Hudson Valley Resort &
Spa in Kerhonkson, NY. Featured artists are Min Hsuan Lo
(Taiwan), Graham Potter (UK), Michael Hagadorn (USA) and George
LeBolt (USA). Each of the artists will be offering lecture/demonstrations,
critiques, and workshops over the course of the Festival. Additionally,
the Festival will feature an enlarged vendor area, a large bonsai
exhibit, a festival banquet and bonsai auction. Silent auctions
and raffles of demonstration material will keep the excitement

June 12-15, 2008 - Indianapolis, IN
The Mid-America Bonsai Alliance
(MABA) - brings its convention
to Indianapolis. Hosted by the Indianapolis Bonsai Club, this
event will feature top bonsai talent from both the United States
and Europe, including Danny Use, Steve Pilacik, Dana Quattlebaum,
and Matt Ouwinga. This event will be held at the Marten House
and Lilly Convention Center complex on West 86th Street in Indianapolis.
The convention will include a variety of workshops, demonstrations,
and exhibits as well as vendors from all over the
Midwest and beyond. All members of MABA associated clubs are
welcome and invited to participate in exhibition as well as the
workshops and demonstrations. In addition, a basic Bonsai
101 workshop will be offered to the general public to help
foster a better understanding and appreciation for the art of

Rocky Mountain Bonsai Society Annual Show The Largest
show of Native and Exotic Bonsai in Colorado. Held annually at
the Denver Botanic Gardens on Father's Day Weekend inside the

All Ohio Show plans are developing for a statewide event to be
held Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio, that will
appeal to bonsai hobbyists from across the state and beyond.
Every bonsai organization active in the Buckeye state will be
invited to display their club's best bonsai, and bonsai growers
who are not affiliated with any club will also be able to show
