Here is a current photo of one of my Chickasaw plum bonsai.
This bonsai was grown from a stump that was collected in 1993.
Enjoy,

Very nice tree indeed!!!! It's so nice to see this tree being actively used for Bonsai. I would love to see this tree in the spring when it flowers and would emplore you to post it when it does. It would be a fine addition to the ABS Reference image gallery. I have often thought of making a forest planting of this material to reflect the way it growes in natural groves. Again! very nice.
ta ta, for now.
p.s. what's your location and growing zone? I'd like to add your specifics to the list of native trees used for bonsai.

plantmanky wrote:Just lovely!!!! Would you mind if I add the photo to the ABS reference library of images? Currently we don't have this tree in our photo inventory and it would be a great addition. I'll also add your location details into the ABS list of Native plants used for bonsai and link that entry to your image.
Good job on a sorely under represented tree in american bonsai!
