Not my cup of tea!

Postby clrosner » Oct 24, 2010 6:30 pm

Dear John Callaway:
I understand that this is a different set-up than the old Email account, however, When new subjects are posted, I would like to know if they would be of interest to me, without me going on the forum and searching.... If that IS NOT POSSIBLE, I DOUBT IF I WILL SPEND MUCH TIME GOING THROUGH ALL THE POSTS. I will try and drop in once in awhile, but in the past, when I received an Email, and the subject of the post was in need of an answer, and I could help out, I was more than glad to add my two cents

That is one of the reasons I left the IBC along with a lot of others.... Maybe this is the new wave of Bonsai forums, but it is not conducive for me to waste my time... I thank you for your post.
Fondest regards,
Carl L Rosner

Thanks for your feedback. This is an online discussion forum, which differs from the previous Yahoo email group. Questions and answers can be indexed and searched in an effort to help those that might have missed previous discussions or those that don't typically join in on the conversation. We hope that you may find that this ends up being a favorable medium for you.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve the forum or help to make it something you find more useful please let us know.

Hmm. It seems that if you go to the User Control Panel (left side, just above the messages) you can click on Manage Subscription, then "subscribe" to a forum, (or even a single topic -- which, I think, would be wasteful). You then will be notified when someone posts to that forum.

At present, however, there aren't enough messages to be a bother to anyone.
