Prairie State Bonsai Society Events 2011

The Prairie State Bonsai Society will host 2 major events in 2011.

On June 5 we will have our annual Bonsai Display and club picnic. All are welcome to come by and see the display. Members will be available to answer questions and provide information. The display is held in the Fabyan Forest Preserve in Geneva (Rt. 31 & Fabyan Parkway), Kane County, Illinois. The event will run 9:30am to 4pm. Also see the Japanese Garden behind our display.

We will have our annual show at the Morton Arboretum, Lisle, Illinois, Rt. 53 and Park Blvd. on July 16 - 17, 10 am to 5pm. The show will feature a display of member's trees, 2 demos each day, workshops including adult and children level, and vendors. Our vendors this year will include Cass Bonsai, Literati Bonsai, Green Man Images (nature photography), BC Bonsai, and Jay Kolaya Stands and Slabs.

If you live in the area , or will be visiting here this summer, we hope that you will come out to these events. Both are free of charge although there is a parking fee at the Morton Arboretum which includes admission to the grounds.
