On Tuesdays, I can pick up South American radio stations with this thing.
It was originally 6 feet tall. I bought it because it had such interesting roots. That's last year's leaves on the tree. It has little green buds coming out everywhere. I have crossing wires in there because there was only so much bending I could do with the heavy aluminum wire.
I originally bent it up using purple Vet Wrap and heavy copper from Home Depot. The wood is actually quite soft. When I made acute angles in the bends, the tree felt like it was collapsing more than snapping.
The pot comes from Australia. I wish I knew the potter's name. It's quite nice.
