I just thought I might place this topic on the forum. It seems as though we tend to overlook Karume's in lieu of the popular statsuki's that are used for bonsai more often. Large Sat's are expensive since most of them are inported out of Japan but we have a wealth of Karume's that are out in the yards of america. A vast resource for the enterprizing. Here's one that I got from someone that was going to throw it away a few years ago that's at least 50 years old.
