New Images for the Reference Library

Hello all,

Just a quick note that we added some very nice Australian Native plantmaterial images provided by Grant Bowie the Curator of the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection of Australia. Our Sincere thanks to Grant for his contribution of images to the ever growing ABS Reference Image Library.

If you have images of Plants used for Bonsai that are not in the Reference Library do think about donating a copy of them. You can contact Randy Davis the Image Librarian here or by his direct E-mail address plantmanky@yahoo.com for details of submissions.

We have been lucky to receive 3 new images into the Refrence Image Library that you'll be anxious to see I'm sure.

Arctostaphylos hookeri - Monterey Manzanita A rare bonsai indeed but oh so pretty
Citris x microcarpa - Calamondin Orange Another rare bonsai and this one's by the Master John Naka
Quercus petraea - Sessile or Durmast Oak An uncommon bonsai by the late movie star Gloria Stuart

We are very pleased to have these additions to the library from Nathan Simmons of Southern California.

If you have images of nice bonsai that are not in the LIbrary, please take the time to contact me so we can add yours too!!!!

We have added 8 new images to the ABS Reference library of bonsai images. Thanks go to Cat Nelson for providing them from recent shows that she has attended and some older shows in the past as well. Also included is an image provided by Frank Mihalic of Ohio of his lovely Meyer juniper that was an entry in the 2011 John Naka design contest.
