Carl
How sad it is that people feel that stealing is their way to acquire what they want.
I appreciated the wonderful way your dealt with it on U Tube. I hope the thief gets the message and returns it ( although that type of person does not have the moral sense needed.)
I am happy that you have your photographs and your wonderful paintings.
Take care

Thank you PaULINE. I feel a lot better now that I created the Stolen Bonsai segment, and one of my student's husband, Dave Sparenberg, added music and turned it into a vehicle that could be uploaded to You-tube.

May be You-tube is the place photographs of Stolen Bonsai should be posted!

Very sorry for your loss Carl,

Unfortunately, I know exactly how you feel. But I admire your outlook on your trees. I've always said that at least some trees in one's collection should have a story. It makes them more special, but also makes it harder to say goodbye to them. Hope yours turns up.

Sincerely,

Ed

Thanks Ed:
The thing is that if everyone reading my post would be kind enough to copy the URL and send it to all their Bonsai friends and family the more people that SEE THE URL post THE MORE CHANCE THE PERSON WHO STOLE IT WILL GET....the message that people are watching. I don't expect to get the tree back, but I would like the thief to be known to the rest of the Bonsai community.

Sorry Carl that someone did that to you. However, something good may come from this. I viewed the video and then hit the share button on youtube and linked it to my facebook page. Being that I have lots of bonsai enthusiest friends, it will spread directly to people that would be on the look out. I would encourage others to do the same. This kind of network might end up finding your tree or atleast get your message out more. Again, sorry Carl.
