Trees from the tropics which do not tolerate frost, ficus, schefflera, acacia, buttonwood...
by jaywalterburton » Feb 15, 2012 5:59 pm
I've come upon a Ficus Nerifolia with several yellowed leaves. Each with a single small , 1/8th inch or so, brown spot surrounded by yellowing. I am very familier with yellowing in unhappy Ficus but not like this. Anyone with an idea of what it is and what should be done?

Hi Jay:
Did you do the paper test??? I suspect you have a pest(s) lurking!

Do you mist your tree?
Fungal disease can look like this.
How about posting a shot of the tree, and leaves.
It can help to see how it looks.
