As far as I knew I was the only person growing Osage orange as bonsai, but I see someone has listed Maclura pomifera in the Native plant list here.

I'd sure like to hear from someone else who grows it, so if you're here, please let me know.

I was laying bed last night trying to think of who requested that entry on the Native plant listing and from a dim recollection, I thought it might be a fellow up in northern IL who grows lot's of native material as bonsai. I don't remember his name and not sure if he has been on the forum as of yet. Your tree is just wonderful!!!! I'm going to have to go out and find one to start playing with. I just love that lovely winter look of your tree! Good work!!!!!!

That is a very nice Osage Orange. How tall is it?

It is 21 inches from the pot rim. Big for me.
